EASA will draw the winners from amongst qualifying candidates in December 2003. The winners themselves may select which event they wish to attend. In this way they can choose their preferred time of year, type of event, duration and country. EASA can assist with arrangements where possible.
If you are a beginner, i.e. have started learning Esperanto not more than a year before entering, and if you reside in Southern Africa, you may qualify for the competition, provided you fall into one of the following two categories:
